What are your submission guidelines?

Why are your prices so low?
Because we are a "gang run" print company, we are
able to offer lower prices than our competition. We print our client's orders on
a 38” x 25” sheet and cut the jobs apart in order to reduce costs. That means
you don't pay individually for the costs of plates and other setup charges.
What kind of paper do you use?
All postcards and business cards are printed on
12pt. card stock with or without UV coating (based on your needs). We
can use other types of paper on custom jobs.
What file formats are accepted?
We accept Mac or PC file formats including:
- .TIF
- .JPG
- flattened .PSD
- .PDF, and .EPS with fonts turned to outlines/curves
What types of media do you accept?
We prefer you to upload your order through the
FTP or email. But we will accept CD or DVD.
Is there an extra charge for bleeds?
No, your image can bleed to the edge of the paper. Make sure your important text and pictures are 3/16" off the edge of the design canvas.
Do I need to create the file at a larger size than stated for cutting?
No. The only files that should be created at a larger size are business cards.
You should create business cards at 3.75" x 2.25" with a 1/4" are where there is
not important text or photos. If you are not sure of how to create the files

the left of this page. Click through to the page and download the templates at
the bottom of the page.
How can I send you my print job?
You can use our online system to upload your work immediately
after you fill out the order form!
What payment options are available?
Due to the nature of our quick turnaround, all orders must be prepaid. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. If you would like to pay with a check or money order, please overnight the check to us. Please see our
terms for information about check and money order payments.
Can you print anything other than postcards?
Yes, we print anything you can think of on paper. Some of our clients use our printing services for: Brochures, Menus, Postcards, Tickets, Clothing Tags, Business Cards, Posters, Instruction Booklets, Newsletters, Magazines, Tri-Folds, Record Flats, CD Covers and Trays and more!
Can you print flyers that are different sizes than what you have listed?
Yes, we can! For custom sizes, please call us at 1.877.627.9636 so that we can provide you with a custom price.
TURNAROUND AND DELIVERY
When will I receive my flyers or print job?
All complete jobs (art and payment) received before 3pm EST will be ready to ship within 24-48 hours (2 business days). For example, if we receive your art and payment at
2pm on Tuesday, your order will be ready to ship on Thursday and you will receive your print job on Friday with our preferred shipping method.
What shipping options do I have?
Our preferred shipping method is DHL Overnight, Delta Dash or Delta Priority One. You can, however, use any shipping method you'd like if you have an account opened with another company
like FedEx or UPS. If you have questions call us and we'll work with you to get your order to you in a cost
effective and timely manner.
How long will it take to get my order delivered to me?
Your order will ship 2 business days after it is submitted and paid for. DHL will deliver your flyers or print piece the next
day. Delta will have you box available for pick up the next day and in some
instances the same day.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Do I get a copy of my artwork on disk?
You can, however, it is not included in the design service price. The fee that you pay us is for the time we spend preparing your artwork. If you would like a copy of your artwork, please mention it at the time of your order and we will give you a custom quote based on your intent if use and specific needs.
DIRECT MAIL
In what format can I send you my mailing list?
Your mailing list should be in .XLS (Microsoft Excel) format. The mailing price includes 4 address lines plus your barcode. Those lines are: Full Name, Company Name, Street Address and City,State and Zip code. Please prepare your XLS file with the following columns: Full Name, Company Name (when appropriate), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code. Additional lines may incur additional costs.
Does the mailing service fee include postage?
No, the mailing service includes: CASS certification and deduping of your mailing list, ink jetting of addresses and Presort barcode and delivery to post office. Postage is additional and is based on the zip codes on the mailing list.
FILE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We want the very best for our customers. Before placing an order please read the
following information to ensure the best quality and turnaround possible for
your job. The following information will provide you the information necessary
to place your order, submit your file and receive your job in a timely manner.

SUBMITTED ARTWORK PROOFING
Before submitting any files to our production
department please ensure that you have reviewed your file for spelling and
grammatical errors. We do not take responsibility for any errors made by your
design team. All design issues should be resolved before submission. If an error
is found after submission please refer to the "Canceling a Job" section below.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Name your file:
"front-filename-size-quantity.format" & the same for the back of your design
(i.e. "front-johndoe-1/4-5000.jpg" & "back-johndoe-1/4-5000.jpg") submit them in
a folder as a .zip or stuffit file named "filename-size-quantity.zip" (i.e.
"johndoe-1/4-5000.zip") Note: Business card size should be specified as "BC".
Resolution: 300 dpi+.
Color Mode: CMYK.
Live Area: Full
bleed with 3/16" trim.
File Size: see file sizes on page 2 of this
document. We accept the following File Formats: .JPG, .TIF, .EPS (create
outlines), .PSD. Note: Convert all quark files EPS.
TURNAROUND TIME AND SHIPPING
We can provide you with your job within 24-48 hours
from the order date at 5pm if you are a local South Florida client. If your job
requires shipping anywhere but Dade or Broward Counties in Florida an additional
24 hours is necessary. Shipping arrangements done by our company are done with DHL Overnight service,
Delta Dash or Delta P1. If you would like another
shipping method, please specify this request at time of order.
COLORS
Slight color variation may occur. If your job is
color critical your job is considered a special order and prices and turnaround
time in this document do not apply. You will need to purchase a color proof as
well. For color proofs allow an additional 48 hours if in South Florida or 72 hours if Out-of-State. By not purchasing a color
proof or putting in a special color critical order you waive your right to exact
color duplication.
TAG LINE
All pieces printed by needpostcards.com will have a 6pt. tag reading: "Printed by:
our .com address 1.877.627.9636" placed close to the edge of piece unless otherwise agreed upon. A "No Tag" fee
of $20.00 will be accessed on orders excluding business cards if tag
removal is requested.
